Currently, the organic sector still uses a fair amount of conventional seeds and propagation material. In the long term, the sector aims to use 100% organic material for organic cultivation. To be able to reach this goal it is important to grow sufficient amounts of healthy and clean propagation material.

Also, the development and use of organic varieties is to be expanded. These new varieties should be optimally suited to organic cultivation circumstances.
